When the Sardinian-Australian anthropologist and film director Lisa Camillo returns to the Italian island of Sardinia after 15 years in Australia, to her horror she finds that large chunks of her homeland are devastated by mysterious bombs.
On her journey she uncovers secret NATO bombing ranges that have had devastating effects on the local human and animal population, setting Lisa on a journey to expose the truth, join the islanders’ fight to reclaim their land and livelihoods. In doing so, she learned about herself and her roots.
